Emails can only be used in GrowthWheel Online one time. That means that if a client is already in the system, they cannot be added again using the exact same email.
If this happens, you can use a work around by creating an email alias. It is an efficient way to work with a client that has multiple companies while only using one email. You can structure an email alias as shown in the following example:
Company #1: Anna@business.com
Company #2: Anna+1@business.com
Company #3: Anna+2@business.com
Company #4: Anna+3@business.com
Although the bottom 3 emails are clearly different, when you include the "+" sign and add an alias (in this case we just used numbers), they will all be sent to the Anna@business.com account. As she sends you back emails they will automatically be recorded in each respective client company.
So in summary, to create an alias, type a "+" sign after the person's name but before the "@" sign and write whatever you want as the alias name.
